Sweet Giveaway: Win 4 Cupcakes Baked in Jars!

Canning is all the rage, but I'll tell you the truth: I'd rather eat a cupcake than a jar of preserves any day.

And if you're like me, you'll freaking love this giveaway, for 4 Cupcakes-In-A-Jar!

These sweeties are baked with love by Betty Crocker Wannabe, and one lucky winner will win four delicious treats: 2 each of the Turtle and Chocolate Lover's flavors.

WHAT IS A CUPCAKE-IN-A-JAR? Cupcakes-In-A-Jar are delicious, fully cooked, ready to eat cupcakes layered in a half pint jar and packaged with a signature orange spoon. Each jar contains the equivalent of 2 regular sized frosted cupcakes. Eat immediately upon receipt, refrigerate for up to 2 weeks or freeze for up to 6 weeks. What makes Cupcakes-In-A-Jar truly unique is their ability to ship. Each jar is carefully packaged to insure safe delivery.

How do you enter? It's so easy. Simply leave a comment below addressing this important dessert subject: when at a restaurant, do you like to share dessert? Or do you like to like to keep it all to yourself?

One lucky winner will be chosen at random one week, on Thursday, April 14th at noon PST. Since the prize is perishable, US entrants only! If you can't wait, go ahead and order some at Betty Crocker Wannabe.

I prefer not to share my dessert. I have a thing about sharing food, so it's usually mine! mine! mine!

But if I'm with someone special that I'm okay sharing my food with, then I might let them have a bite. Except if it's creme brulee. Then it's back to mine! mine! mine!

Share the love. And maybe get some lovin' back :)

Like to and should do are two different things! Usually I WANT my own, but compromise and share one so I don't take the full caloric hit. There are still a few I hate to share, though.

I love to share with the rest of my family! It's no good otherwise. :)

I like to have my dessert all to myself....and then steal some of my husband's too!

depending upon the dessert, i might allow for a taste bite, or if it is an enormous serving, i will share. it isn't often that i get dessert at a restaurant so i feel it is my time to keep it to myself!

I'm always willing to share my dessert, but only to an extent. You are allowed ONE bite of my dessert. If you need two bites in order to taste all of the components, that's fine. I'm happy to buy the other patron his or her own dessert, but don't think I'll be splitting mine 50/50.

Keep it all to myself. duh.

I like to share, but only because I always want more than one thing haha. This way I get to try a couple of them!

I like to share dessert IF I have eaten a meal already; however, if I go to a restaurant and ONLY order dessert (which, I must admit, happens frequently), I like to have the dessert for myself. :)

I love to share - that means I can order more than one and try a couple of different things!

I prefer if we each get our own dessert - but then share them all, so we get to try more sweets!

I like to share my dessert, but only with my husband:)

The fattie in me wants to eat the whole thing...but usually I split, mostly to save my pants button.

Oh, dessert sharing is SO not an option. My boyfriend knows that if his fork so much as approaches my plate, he runs the risk of getting stabbed in the hand. ;)

Whenever my girlfriends and I have tried to split desserts, it always just seems to turn into a race, each of us trying to get our requisite half of bites in before the other person can go over their fair share (either accidentally or on purpose). I say: Be proud! Order the whole dessert!

Oh yum! Great giveaway! I don't mind sharing as long as the other person has also ordered a dessert so we can share that one as well. That way I get my full serving of dessert for the day (yes, dessert is its own food group) but can try two different flavors!

I'll share if it's the only way I get dessert, but really I want it all to myself.
April 6 | Unregistered CommenterErin
I generally get one to share at the table, cuz you need that immediate sweet satisfaction directly following a meal, but then, I have been known to also order a second dessert to box up and take home and savour all on my own, in the comfort of my home!!

When I order dessert at a restaurant, I would LIKE to have it all to myself. LOL! I try to savor every bite if it's that good, too.

But! I often end up sharing because I'm nice, and also a penny pincher who is kind of trying to watch her weight. :B

Well. This is a touchy subject...
OBVIOUSLY I prefer to keep it all to myself.
However, due to courtesy or some other ridiculous socially accepted notion, i generally will suggest that dessert be shared. Plus, it saves money. And I'm a poor college student, so....yeahhh.
April 6 | Unregistered CommenterErin
I love to share...especially if you can order more than one and pass them around the table!
