They're Good: Chocolate Log Cookies Recipe for Serious Eats

Usually, logs are the following: big, heavy, and wood. (At least that's what the classic cartoon show "Ren & Stimpy" taught me.) But these ones, which are actually chocolate cookies made to look like logs, are better than bad—they're really good.

Though they might resemble baby Bûche de Noëls, these sweet treats are all cookie: a deep, dark, chocolaty crumbly and buttery cookie smothered in chocolate frosting.
