Red velvet is definitely the most romantic in my opinion.

I think any cupcake that incorporated chocolate, champagne, or passionfruit would be super romantic!

This year I'm going to attempt to do a dark chocolate raspberry cupcake with a chocolate ganache maybe infused with a little Grand Marnier.. I'm a newbie baker, so this shall be quite a feat. If I pull it off, maybe I'll get a proposal! Definitely romantic though! Lol! Wish me luck!

chocolate... the darker the chocolate, the better! And maybe some strawberry could be thrown in there somewhere. Perfectly romatic!

For some reason I always make Boston Cream as a special romantic dessert... Maybe because early on I noticed my husband always orders that style of donut and it seemed fitting to turn that his favorite into cake form. So that's my vote!

devils food!

I think the most romantic flavor is whatever is your favorite! For example, if my boyfriend brought me a chocolate cupcake, it'd be nice, but if he brought me a coconut cupcake I would be ecstatic! It shows that he actually cared enough to listen and knows me!!!

what turned into my first date with my boyfriend started with the message "I made a cheesecake, can I bring you a slice?" almost a year and a half later we are still on a sugar high of love <3
