Sweet Giveaway: Cookbook and Cookies From Tate's 

Oh, hey. Remember how like two days ago I did this bake-off, comparing the homemade version of Tate's Bake Shop cookies versus their own mail-order version?

Well, obviously this experiment would be better if you did it yourself, so the fine folks at Tate's are offering up a sweet giveaway!

They're offering a copy of the Tate's Bake Shop Cookbook -- and a filled cookie jar full of their tasty cookies!

It's a fantastic prize package, fun to share with friends or to hoard and enjoy all by yourself (trust me, I won't judge you). Oh, and you should totally follow them on Facebook.

Want to enter yourself in the running? Well (US Residents only, please, since part of the parcel is perishable!), you can do just that by leaving a comment below telling me what kind of chocolate chip cookies you like best: chewy, gooey, or crunchy?

i like a crisp cakey cookie... no walnuts please! (i swear by my grandmother's version of the classic toll house - different than what's on their c.c. packages these days... AND tate's to keep my mother in law happy!!)

I like both crewy and crispy, depending on mood. Although most folks seem to like the "slightly underbaked" kind, I like the kind that are nice and browned. Mmmm.

I love gooey ones. The best cookies are when you just pull them out of the oven and the outside edge is slightly crunchy and the middle is warm and gooey...of course you need a big glass of milk to go with these!

Pick Me! Pick ME! I LOVE chocolate chip cookies that are HUGE, taking two hands to hold them. GOOEY in the center and CRISP on the outter edges. The textural differences makes your mouth feel like smiling ; )

I like a chewy cookie with a slight crunch on the outside. Difficult to achieve but I have perfected a recipe that can do just that - a few secrets up my sleeve!
