Today, for no particular reason other than the fact that it might sweeten your day, CakeSpy is offering a giveaway.

Almond schnecken at Cafe Besalu! YUM. I ate about 6 of them while I was in the hospital after giving birth to my daughter. I felt like I had earned them!! :)

I'm in school for Baking and Pastry Arts, and last week we made almond biscotti and it was so delicious! Couldn't eat enough of it.

A few months ago, I was looking through one of your Sweet Links posts.
One link was for something on the Crepes of Wrath blog. While there, I came across a White Chocolate Marshmallow Pistachio Brownie recipe. We had just returned from Italy, and I ate so many pistachio confections but I thought this sounded delicious. And it was! So declicious I can never make this recipe again because I ate all of them!!

I made a double chocolate-espresso loaf cake topped with candied walnuts... it was so good! The buttermilk cake was nice and moist, there were chunks of valrhona chocolate throughout to give it some fudginess, and the candied walnuts added a nice bit of crunch. :)
