Sweet Giveaway: Win an Original Framed CakeSpy Watercolor!

Today, for no particular reason other than the fact that it might sweeten your day, CakeSpy is offering a giveaway.

Totally sweet: you could win a framed and matted original watercolor by CakeSpy! It pictures a sweet scene of treats flying a kite on what looks like a carefree and sugar-filled day (of course, if you can't wait to see if you won, feel free to shop online here).

Want a piece of that sweetness? To enter to win, simply leave a comment on this post to satisfy the spy's curiosity:

What is the last dessert, sweet, or baked good that really knocked your socks off?

A buttery croissant? A decadent chocolate torte? Or perhaps a homespun apple pie? I want to hear all about it. Of course recipes are welcome too!

This giveaway is open to entrants everywhere (US and abroad). The giveaway will close for entries on Thursday, November 18, at 12pm PST, and a winner will be announced shortly thereafter.

For me it was a chocolate-raspberry cake I had in a during my vacation in Sweden. I was in a place that makes its own chocolates, and accompanied with a hot dark chocolate drink, it was absolutely wonderful!

For me, it's always a treat to go to Ikea and I usually like to sweeten up the trip with a slice of their naughty Chocolate Overload Cake. Makes me swoon every time...and makes my husband somewhat jealous of said swooning.

Hands down, it's as my hubby and I call it the "Old People Apple Pie" In Rochester, MI (where we used to live) once a year, this large meeting place for older people bakes something like 3000 pies all to sell in a weekend and every year they sell out. I don't know what those old people are doing in there but that pie is unreal.

1st year we each got a slice and by the time we realized it was magic, the whole pies were sold out.
2nd and third years we were there we bought a pie and unabashedly ate the entire thing out of the pie plate with 2 forks. We must have looked like lions feeding on a zebra! I don't know how or why but this pie tastes indescribable. We moved and I've emailed and begged if they'd tell me the recipe or at least ship me a pie but no reply.

Best sweet = cookies from Brown's Orchards in Pennsylvania. They have cookies the size of my head! The gingerbread ones are awesome, but I also like the sugar with mini chocolate chips.

Not to sweet, really huge, very tasty!
