Sweet Art: Cupcakes in their Underwear Eating Soup and Watching Dawson's Creek

Custom holiday order

As a professional cupcake illustrator, I am occasionally faced with requests which I imagine are not often encountered in other industries.

For instance, over the holidays, when customer Megan inquired if I would be able to create a painting featuring "Cupcakes in their underpants eating soup and watching Dawson's Creek...with a little orange kitten nearby batting at something?"

...let's just say my response was swift and confident (and, I might add, without any follow up questions): YES.

Just another example of why I love my job.

Haha, that's funny. Food mixes very well with art.

Yay that is my painting! Megan and I are best friends and former roomates and this is exactly what we used to do! Well to be honest...we still do it, we just don't live together anymore. In fact I'm on the green couch right now! This is my second Cakespy painting that someone has given me. I'm in love with them! Thank you!!

Bravo! This may just be my fave cuppie painting of all time. Soup soup soup!

Beats my job all to hell and back. Can I say *hell* on your blog? I don't want to destroy the sweetness. ;-)

Awesome. Completely and totally.

I've been having one of those terrible, horrible, no good, very bad days. And this post totally made me feel better! Thanks a ton for the sunshine. :)
