What a Dish: Win a CAKESPY Plate by La Plates!

Cakespy Plate--win it!
Now, usually we wait til the end of the month to do a giveaway, but this was just too cool to wait! The wonderful company La Plates has made a wonderful CAKESPY plate, which will go to one lucky reader!

La Plates is a very cool company that makes custom plates--what a wonderful holiday idea! But act quickly--their deadline for custom holiday orders is December 5.

This contest is in addition to our regular monthly cake poll, which will occur later on this month. The winner (sorry, US only this time!) will be announced this Friday at 5pm PST.

To put your name in the running, just leave a comment letting us know the following:

What's the first sweet you'd like to eat off of this fantastic plate?

A warm, gooey, ultra chocolately, moist, brownie oozing with rich chocolate sauce, caramel, and nuts, and generously dolloped with fresh whip cream and crowned by a magnificent cherry!

I want a chocolate cupcake with dark chocolate frosting and a big giant scoop of chocolate ice cream.
And, I want that plate!

I'd love to use the plate for a piece of Turtle Cheesecake.

I think I would definitely need to eat something chocolaty off of that plate- The colors would really pop!

Yeah, that's easy... a cupcake!

December 3 | Unregistered CommenterDianna

I would have a pretty fleur de sel macaroon ( with a cupcake on the side );)
Then lick the plate!

First, I'd like to eat one (okay, TWO) of Ina Garten's Coconut cupcakes off of the plate. Then I'd probably have a slice of Brooklyn Blackout cake. After that I would probably explode. But it would be a happy explosion...

WHOOPIE PIE!!!

Its cake with a pie in its name, so it covers all bases!

Fluffy marshmallow filling oozing all over the super cute plate that would require a good lickin' upon completion of the chocolatey, sweet, sticky treat.

That plate deserves a whoopie pie!

With the holidays there is an onslaught of sweets. But I'd go for a cinnamon roll in the morning all gooey and buttery. Between the sugar and the bright pink it would be sure to wake me up!

A gigantic, apple sized RED VELVET cupcake from Auntie Em's... covered in delicious, cream cheese frosting with the paper already removed SO THAT I CAN EAT IT WITH MY FACE!!!!!!

Ooh, how exciting! I'm going to have to say a selection of Holiday cookies, to be shared with friends, of course!

simple yet AMAZINGLY delish chocolate cupcake with vanilla butter cream frosting and pink sugar sprinkles.

Let's see...some Battenburg cake I think (store-bought, I'm afraid).
