Mini Cake Byte: A Bit of Sweet News From Cakespy

Mini Pie Revolution Logo

Some say that pie is the new cake--and while we do love cake, we must admit those mini pies sure are cute! Why not see what all this revolution is about at the Mini Pie Revolution Headquarters--featuring a new logo designed by our own Head Spy Jessie!

Aran: Thanks! :-)

Ricki: Good eye! Yes, that felt slightly sacriligious but it's cute, eh?

Suzy: And what a fine attempt it was!! Everyone else should check 'em out!

Stephanie: Your response prompted me to visit your blog again and I have to say you have the cutest kids. Seriously!

Ann: Thank you! It is what I consider some of my best! :-)

Chou: Yes indeed! Bring on the pie!

Your banner is awesome! There's so much detail. And with all due respect, cupcakes are cute, but my heart really lies with mini pies. Mmm. Mini pot pies. :)

Love the banner. If I ever get to open my own vegan bakery, you are sooooo doing the logo.

I just love the illustrations, and I've had a few inquiries over on the Dish about people who want pie instead of cake for their weddings. Who would have thought? I might have to link to the Mini Pie Rev, really nice site.

Slush: Thanks!!

Wandering Chopsticks: Oh yes. We are called Cakespy, but (don't tell cake!) we love pie too!!

Vegan Noodle: Yea! You clearly need to--you are so skilled! I hope when you are in Seattle you'll be able to check out either Madison Market (a co-op that has a lot of vegan pastries), Julia's in Wallingford (restaurant/bakery with lots of vegan options) or Flying Apron Bakery (though I have to say some vegan things are better than others there. LOVE the cinnamon rolls).

Jeanna: Thank you!! And I believe it with pies--esp. for Americans, because pie is such a big part of Americana. But I am sure that pies for weddings ANYWHERE would be welcome!

The new banner is wonderful - you did an excellent job. And the shooting cupcake is a great touch. =)
